It Works
Had some old Wheels...after sanding them down with 1000 grit and then 2000 grit, and last 2500 grit wet and dry sandpaper... mothers mag polish worked great
metal polish done right
You can clean any kind of metal with this product. I think you should buy it. For the most part it's like copper and silver polish, only it's intended for metal. Sometimes it may leave a few streaks here and there if you don't wipe the surface of the metal entirely. If that happens, apply a touch of water and continue rubbing until the streaks go away.
Easier than I thought
This product is much easier than I thought. I have some polished aluminum ProComp Series 1059 wheels. I went to the car wash and they used some wheel liquid which left major water marks all over my wheels which eventually started to corrode. I then bought this product and some terry cloth towels off of amazon.
I then bought:
$1.59 spray bottle
$3.00 microfiber towels (pack of 10)
both from Walgreens.
I went home sprayed water on my wheels to get them wet and applied a light coat of Mothers polish to my wheels with my terry cloth towels. Eventually a dark soot started to appear and then I used the microfiber towel to buff off the polish. My wheels have never looked this good. It takes a good 10 minutes/wheel to get my wheels polished but it is so worth it. I think I will do this every 3 weeks.
I was worried that there would be streaks or I would apply it wrong. My wheels came out perfect. Great Product.
